Released on the 28th of April, 1968, this issue was about falling in love.

The article titled 'The Great Heart Stoppers' featured two photographs by Duffy. The article read, 'Some memorable love scenes from fiction, recreated for The Observer Magazine by three of Britain's leading photographers, Brian Duffy, Donald Silverstein, and Clive Arrowsmith.'

Duffy's photographs were for his take on the novels 'A Farewell to Arms' by Ernest Hemingway and 'The Country Girls' by Edna O'Brien.
