Duffy took this image in 1962 for an article in French Elle titled 'Sweetheart Dresses (Robes À Toille Douce)'. Published on the 2nd of March, 1962, this was Duffy's second time appearing in the magazine.
This picture was never published in favour of a small black and white photo of the same outfits. Described as 'Two Dandy's', on the left, a raspberry and white wool Cardin coat and on the right, Nicole De Lamargé in speckled beige tweed by Griffe.
Duffy frequently used a newspaper as a prop, which gave the images movement. When Glamour Magazine in New York saw this editorial spread, they immediately hired Duffy.
