Shot in 1977 in Duffy’s London studio for David Bailey & David Litchfield's Ritz publication. This image was for a feature on milliner David Shilling, who had recently opened his first shop on Marylebone High Street in London. David Schilling was best known for the extravagant hats he made every year for his mother, Gertrude, to wear to the Ascot races.
The model on the left is Australian actress Linda Kerridge, who rose to notoriety for her impersonation of actress Marilyn Monroe. Wearing an 'Arctic fox dyed sharp lemon', which retailed at £285.
On the right is Cindy White Hartley wearing a 'Terribly jet back fox with three legs' for £195.50.
The make-up was by Richard Sharah, who worked with Duffy on the David Bowie Scary Monsters album shoot in 1980.
