French Elle Poster - Caffe Greco - Rome - 1964

This is a reproduction poster of an early Duffy French Elle photoshoot.

This print measures 500mm x 400mm (19.685" x 15.748") and will be delivered rolled in a poster tube.

The image is from French Elle issue No.955 published on the 10th of April 1964. The feature is titled 'Romanesques A Rome.' This image was taken in Caffe Greco, Rome which still operates today. The Cafe Greco was founded in 1760 and the room pictured is still identical today. Situated only a few blocks away from the Trinità dei Monti, the Spanish Steps can be seen in the background of outtakes from the session. The cafe is on the Via Dei Condotti, it is the oldest bar in Rome. Keats & Byron amongst many others have had coffee at the iconic marble tables.

The original magazine feature can be seen here.

All posters from the Duffy Archive are embossed with a large Duffy Archive stamp as a mark of authenticity.
