

The Shadows with Hank Marvin photographed with their iconic fiesta red Fender Guitars. Between 1958 to 1968 The Shadows were Cliff Richard’s backing band. The group comprised of members (from left to right) Bruce Welch on rhythm guitar, Hank Marvin on lead guitar, Tony Meehan on drums, and bassist Jet Harris. The shoot took place in August 1961, a month before their debut self-titled album which reached number #1 in the UK charts.
The model in the center is Ros Watkins, wearing a white satin dress by Dellwood and a Christian Dior rhinestone and pearl necklace.
