David Bailey - August 1976

This portrait was taken by Duffy in Duffy’s north London studio in August 1976. Duffy met Bailey in the ’50s and they became lifelong friends and Duffy famously introduced Bailey to Jean Shrimpton when Duffy was shooting an advert in the Vogue studio. Together ‘The Shrimp’ and Bailey became the face of the swinging sixties.
