Arthur C Clarke - 1973

Sir Arthur C Clarke was a British Science-fiction writer best known for the 1968 novel - 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Pictured here in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where he lived from 1956 until he died in 2008.

The same year, Clarke released the novel 'Rendezvous with Rama.'
