

Alvaro Maccioni was a restaurateur who revolutionised English food by bringing Mediterranean cuisine to London in the 1960s. Boasting clientele such as - Laurence Harvey, Sammy Davis Jr. Michael Caine, Terence Stamp, David Bailey, Jean Shrimpton, and Lord Snowdon - All photographed by Duffy. His restaurant "La Famiglia" has been a huge success since 1975 and continues to this day, based in Chelsea on Langton St.
This shoot was for The Observer for an article titled 'Pasta With Everything' published on the 7th December 1969.
