Observer - 6th April 1969

Duffy worked extensively with The Observer Magazine in 1968. He provided fashion photography for the publication until the late 1970s. This included images of Debbie Harry, more widely known as 'Blondie' before her UK breakthrough in 1977.

This feature starred Duffy's daughters. His children featured often as stand-ins when a child star was required for his photographs.

The Observer Magazine was a competitor to The Sunday Times Magazine. When the Sunday Times launched its colour magazine supplement in 1962, all of the other newspapers followed with their own competing versions. Along with the Observer, Sunday Times Magazine and Telegraph, Duffy provided images for all of the Sunday Newspaper supplements throughout his career.
