This issue of French Elle was Duffy's second shoot for the magazine. It was also the first time Duffy worked with models Ina Balke and Nicole De Lamargé who went on to be one of his favorite and most frequently used models.
In the background of the first image is the Arc de Triomphe, one of Paris’ most famous landmarks. Ina Balke is photographed South-East of the monument on Avenue Marceau.
Duffy often utilised the surrounding area of the Elle offices in Paris, along with its studios to take a wide range of iconic fashion shots.
