Shot by Duffy for French ELLE in 1966 for a feature titled 'French Ready To Wear Becomes The Best In The World.'
The description for this outfit from the original magazine is as follows: 'a first blow to the heart, a coat of white cloth on the white of a flag. Vigorous of architecture but spiritual by its two-colored stitching.' The coat is made by Emmanuelle Khanh who, at the time, was one of the leading young designers of the 1960s New Wave movement in France.
