This is the 3rd page of a feature from August 2003 for The Sunday Times Magazine titled ‘Duffy and the Lost Girls’ with a further paragraph 'His photographs immortalised women and the 1960’s, but then he burnt the lot and disappeared. Or did he?’
The left image is from the 1973 Pirelli calendar for the month of February with airbrushing by Philip Castle and collaboration from Allen Jones. Duffy recalled of the shoot - "By the Early 1970's, the world famous Pirelli style had moved away from the semi-porn snapes of the first few years and into the world of 'art.'"
On the right Amanda Lear poses in lingerie for Nova Magazine. The shoot was for an article titled "How to undress in front of your husband." Duffy goes on to describe his first encounter with the Dali Muse and Roxy Music cover girl in a Paris nightclub with David Bailey.
