Geoffrey Pattie - 1971

Sir Geoffrey Edwin Pattie was born on 17 January 1936. From 1959 through 1966, he served with the Queen's Royal Rifles and achieved the rank of Captain. After his service, Sir Geoffrey was a director at advertising agency Collett Dickenson Pearce from 1966 until 1979, as managing director from 1969 to 1973. After his time with the agency, Sir Geoffrey became a member of parliament as part of the Conservative party for Chertsey and Walton, a seat he held until his retirement in May 1997.
