Charlton Heston - 1965


Charlton Heston shot by Duffy for Town magazine in December 1965. The article "Rough Suede for a Rough Trade" had the actor who was 42 years old at the time modeling the latest suede jackets.

Heston appeared in 100 films over 60 years. By this point, his main hits included "The Ten Commandments" and "Ben-Hur" for which he won an Academy Award. "Planet of the Apes" followed in 1968 and he notably played Detective Thorn in "Soylent Green" (1978). From 1998-2003 Heston became head of the National Rifle Association of America.
