Susan Hampshire, Lady Kulukundis CBE was born in 1937. Her original ambition was to become a nurse. Instead due to struggles with learning, she chose acting as a career. After co-starring with Laurence Harvey in “Expresso Bongo” (1959) Hampshire has featured continuously in film and television for almost 60 years. During this time she has been awarded 3 Emmy awards during the early 1970s.
